A bold new Coreopsis with stunning gold foliage, Coreopsis ‘Lightning Flash’ makes quite a statement for the back of the perennial border. This stately specimen thrives in heat and humidity. Its light yellow flowers are a bonus in late summer!
Uses
Effective used as a specimen or massed at the rear of the border or in meadow-like sites. Attracts butterflies. It is also excellent for fresh cut foliage.
Cultivation
Coreopsis ‘Lightning Flash’ is easy to grow, thriving in average, well-drained soil and full or afternoon sun. Performs best in hot humid summers. Not usually appealing to deer.
