Aruncus ‘Misty Lace’ PP15798

Creamy white, feathery plumes on deep red stems top Aruncus ‘Misty Lace’ in late spring, over compact mounds of ferny foliage. Midway in height between its parents, A. aesthusifolius and A. dioicus, easy care ‘Misty Lace’ is a perfect size for the smaller garden.

Uses

Best planted in the shady border or woodland garden, massed or as an accent. Both foliage and flowers can be used for fresh cut arrangements.

Cultivation

Grows best in moist, humus-rich soils in shady sites. It can be grown in full sun if provided with adequate moisture. Plants grown in deep shade tend to have a more open habit and bloom less vigorously. Not usually bothered by insects and diseases.
