Coreopsis ‘Full Moon’ PPAF
|
This showy new hybrid has very large, light yellow blossoms that measure up to 7 cm across! They are held on well-branched stems atop healthy green, medium textured foliage. Easy of care and very long blooming, it makes an impressive mound of colour from mid summer until frost. As a taller Coreopsis, C. ‘Full Moon’ is best sited towards the middle of the border rather than the front.
Uses Use massed or as a specimen in borders. Attractive to butterflies. Cultivation Grow Coreopsis ‘Full Moon’ in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it is rather drought tolerant, although sufficient moisture will help maintain the attractive foliage all season.Cut stems back after the first flush of flowers fade to promote a repeat bloom. Protect in winter. Not usually browsed by deer.
