Echinacea ‘Tiki Torch’ PPAF
|
Distinctively coloured Echinacea ‘Tiki Torch’ has large, bright, pumpkin-orange flowers. Its amazing flower colour and upright, well-branched flower stems, together with a long bloom period and excellent vigour, make this a must have new plant! Fragrant too!
Uses Effective as a specimen or massed in borders, meadows or wild gardens. Its blooms are good cut, fresh or dried. This plant is very attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds, and songbirds favour its seeds. Cultivation Requires full sun to light shade and well-drained soil. It is very tolerant of heat, drought, poor soil and wind, but intolerant of highly acidic soils. Division every 4 or 5 years is recommended for longevity. Not usually bothered by insect pests or diseases, nor favoured by deer.
