Geranium ‘Crystal Lake’ PPAF

A striking addition to the border, Geranium ‘Crystal Lake’ is a ‘must have’ for gardeners looking for low maintenance garden colour. This recent introduction has silvery-blue cup-shaped flowers from June to hard frost, when most other perennials are in decline. The blooms have white hearts with an almost fluorescent glow, while deep purple veins add a touch of contrast. Geranium ‘Crystal Lake’ is a great weed suppressor too!

Uses

Use as an edger or ground cover at the front of the border or in the rock garden. Or use trailing out of containers and hanging baskets. Attractive to butterflies and bees.

Cultivation

Prefers moist, well-drained soil, but tolerates periods of drought once established. It will thrive in full sun or part shade. It is not usually favoured by deer or rabbits, nor bothered by insects or diseases.
