Hemerocallis ‘Spiritual Corridor’

Fragrant! Award-winning (HM ’97) Hemerocallis ‘Spiritual Corridor’ boasts huge 15 cm blossoms opening flat to heighten the floral display. They are deep lavender pink with a prominent creamy yellow eye, a matching picotee edge, chartreuse throat and a marvelous sweet scent. This floriferous, semi-evergreen, tetraploid Daylily has well-branched, heavily budded scapes and blooms throughout early to midsummer.

Uses

Use in borders, as a specimen or massed. Daylilies can survive harsh conditions such as polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils and near pavement that is salted in winter. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Can be cut for floral arrangements.

Cultivation

Prefers full sun to light shade in average to moist, rich soil. Although tough and drought tolerant, this plant appreciates deep watering in dry spells. Divide every four to five years for best bloom. Not usually bothered by pests or diseases, nor favoured by rabbits.
