Heuchera ‘Pinot Gris’ PPAF

Heuchera ‘Pinot Gris’ is another uniquely colored hybrid from France that was bred to grow well in areas of high heat and humidity. The young spring foliage is ginger coloured with a light silver overlay over the whole leaf. As the season advances and temperatures warm, leaves turn a smoky-rose colour with a heavy silvery overlay and deep purple undersides. Stylish!

Uses

Grow massed as an edger, or as a specimen in the front of the border, in the rock garden, in the woodland, or in a container. Leaves and flowers can be cut for arrangements. Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies.

Cultivation

Grows best in rich, moist, well-drained soil in full sun to full shade. Provide adequate moisture in full sun. Divide clumps every 3 to 4 years. Resistant to pests and diseases, and not usually appealing to deer.
