Heuchera ‘Miracle’ PPAF
|
New Heuchera ‘Miracle’ is amazing! Foliage emerges chartreuse in spring, developing a deep red colour as it matures yet retaining a remarkable bright yellow edge all season. As an x villosa hybrid, it is a large, late blooming type that exhibits an increased tolerance of high heat and humidity over other species. Produces pink flowers in midsummer, though surely it will be grown more for its fantastic foliage!
Uses Grow massed as an edger, or as a specimen in the front of the border, in the rock garden, in the woodland, or in a container. Leaves and flowers can be cut for arrangements. Attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies. Cultivation Grows best in rich, moist, well-drained soil in full sun to full shade. Provide adequate moisture in full sun. Divide clumps every 3 to 4 years. Resistant to pests and diseases, and not usually appealing to deer.
